His remarkable tenure as Chief Executive Officer of Mbada Labour
Relations (2007 - current) has been characterized by visionary
leadership, strategic acumen, and a steadfast dedication to delivering
exceptional results.
With over 15 years of experience as a Part-Time Commissioner,
Advocate Mbada has presided over intricate labour disputes and
arbitrations with sagacity and poise, demonstrating a deep
understanding of the complexities of labour relations and the nuances
of dispute resolution. His roles have included:
- Part-Time Commissioner, Commission for Conciliation Mediation and
Arbitration (CCMA) (2007 - 2012)
- Part-Time Commissioner, General Public Service Sectoral Bargaining
Council (GPSSBC) (2008 - 2013)
- Part-Time Commissioner, Education Labour Relations Council (ELRC)
(2008 - 2013)
Notably, Advocate Mbada was appointed as the Provincial Secretary for
the South African Police Negotiation Forum, a testament to his
exceptional leadership skills and expertise in labour relations.
Additionally, Advocate Mbada has accumulated valuable experience in
labour relations, having served as a Labour Relations Officer at the
Public Servants Association (PSA) from 2000 to 2007, where he
represented clients in labour disputes and negotiations, and
developed and implemented effective labour relations strategies. Prior
to this, he served as a Disciplinary Committee Prosecutor at the South
African Police Services from 1996 to 1999, where he prosecuted high-
profile disciplinary cases and demonstrated expertise in labour law and
procedure.
